So, inspired by visits to France, Spain and programmes like Man vs Food, we decided to start experimenting with new ingredients and new flavour combinations. Given the busy lives that modern families have these days, we decided to make more use of our slow cooker so that it could be ready when we got in from work or school – and to reduce the amount of washing up that we have to do!
However, we’re always forgetting where we got the recipes and so we decided to start writing them down – which then led to a discussion about why we don’t start food blogs and share what we’ve done.
So, as well as this blog, the kids have started their own as well … well … one of them has, the others are still in the contemplative stage!
So if you want to read the recipes from a kids perspective from someone who loves cooking and religiously watching Tom Kerridge, Hairy Bikers and Bake Off then follow the link to Tadhg vs Food …
